Mission First Consulting is led by Dr. Stephen M. Coan, who brings many years of experience in educational and youth service non-profits, including higher education, developing partnerships, creating new financial models, and developing STEM and workforce development programs, among others.

Dr. Coan served as CEO of three organizations including two public-private education partnerships and a public aquarium and marine research institution. His accomplishments include raising over $200 million for Mystic Aquarium, and numerous public policy accomplishments in STEM and ocean policy.
